The federal government is looking for volunteers!
The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who would like to be considered for upcoming committee member vacancies on national health technology assessment committees and sub-committees including:
- Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC);
- MSAC PICO Advisory Sub-Committee (PASC);
- MSAC Evaluation Sub-Committee (ESC);
- Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC);
- PBAC Drug Utilisation Sub-Committee (DUSC);
- PBAC Economics Sub-Committee (ESC);
- PBAC Nutritional Products Working Party (NPWP);
- Medical Devices and Human Tissue Advisory Committee (MDHTAC);
- Expert Clinical Advisory Groups (ECAGs); and
- Consumer and industry member vacancies.
Applications are welcomed from a range of registered medical practitioners – including, but not limited to, medical oncologists, haematologists, endocrinologists, general practitioners, rheumatologists and pathologists. Scientific and professional practitioners such as pharmacists, biostatisticians and health economists are also welcome to apply, as are consumers, patients and representatives from industry.
